As believed by Nelson Mandela, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." If that is true, then educational institutions must not remain stagnant and embrace change as time demands. While many academic institutions with progressive thinking have adopted technology to bring innovation in learning and management, there are many who are still untouched by the benefits of automation. Geared up to transform the old, manual, paper based management in academic institutions, Bangalore based Itech Solutions offers a fully web-based ERP that takes care of wide ranging functions of an education institution. "We also have a Mobile App on Android and iOS platforms that works together with the Web application. A lot of workflows and data retrieval views have been made possible on the Mobile App which has increased the value addition to the customer," says Nagesh Jayaram, Director, Itech Solutions.

Itech has recently successfully deployed its solution in one of the well known International Universities which was relying on manual processes that were tedious, time-consuming and prone to human error. After analyzing its requirement matrix, Itech designed a customized solution that included functionalities unique to its functioning and relieved it from age old data management methods. Nagesh further explains, "The implementation began by collating the Master Data and uploading it to the software. Then detailed training was given to all users in multiple sessions to make them familiar with the software. During the first few days after the deployment, we had deputed few of our engineers at their organization to give immediate support."

Founded in 2009, Itech boasts of its solution being one of the few ERP solutions that are fully web-based, also supported with Mobile applications. Being a SaaS based software; it does not demand clients to make additional investments in hardware or infrastructure. Customizations too can be deployed easily online which reduces the implementation timeframe. "We have a Turnkey based approach wherein the customer has us as the single point of contact and we are able to deliver an integrated solution including software, hardware and other related systems at a single stop," adds Nagesh.

Apart from enabling academic institution management, Itech has also been exploring digital learning to power modern day students. It has been developing an eLearning Portal (www.itechtraining.in) which will offer online technical training to users. The organization considers user experience and user interface to be extremely vital due to the required access through multiple devices like tablets and smart phones. Hence, it is trying innovative ways to solve customer problems through a combination of technology and user experience, also based on customer feedback.

Reinventing itself to the changing demands of the market, Itech has been growing by 15 to 20 percent year on year. "In times to come, we are focusing on quicker delivery of projects and are getting our team ready for the same. At the same time, we also aim to make our eLearning Portal one of the best in the world," concludes Nagesh.
