An ERP solution must work in accordance with the boundaries of client's organization rather than the boundaries set by the vendor. However, this is where the gap exists in the Indian market which is crowded with enterprise solutions providers, yet lacking vendors who could facilitate two way communication with clients, understand their pain areas and offer solutions that are built or customized getting into clients' shoes. Enlightening on the market scenario and company's approach towards serving clients, Rajan Kumar, Founder and CEO, T-XIS, says, "There exists a huge knowledge gap between the users and the solutions providers. Sometimes the vendors act according to their notions of a particular domain, and in the process, customer interest goes disregarded. At T-XIS, we have a pool of domain experts as well as Oracle EBS Experts who keep users at the center of an activity, and develop solutions that would enable true value for them." As Rajan explicates further, deployment time is a critical determinant to any business as it directly impacts the RoI. As Oracle is built on open standards, it is very easy to customize in a very short span of time without compromising on data security. T-XIS customizes the ERP based on customers' requirements, yet adhering to industry best practices. He explains that in early 90's, ERP used to work on GIGO (Garbage In Garbage Out) principle, but now the IT awareness has grown to an extent where user is somehow restricted to feed garbage in their systems. "Recently, for ZICOM SaaS, we converted a 20 page Contract into a Form where users can enter complete contract in just five minutes and the entire billing happens based on this contract. Using Oracle EBS, we have automated their contract to Billing Solution to an extent where the Billing happens automatically on monthly basis," he adds.
T-XIS believes not in increasing the number of customers but to create brand ambassadors by giving services that go beyond customers' expectations. Reasoned to the same, the company has been growing at an annual rate of 40 percent since inception. Clients like TBEA and many others are in its bag. "We also measure customer satisfaction index on a scheduled basis to listen and act to the voices of our customers," says Rajan.
In days to come, T-XIS is looking for an office in nearly every state in India to facilitate faster delivery of services. Being a knowledge driven company, it constantly creates a repository of evolving practices and share the same with its customers. "We strive to focus on automation of ERP to such an extent that users have the least entries to complete any business function," concludes Rajan.
