Bharti Airtel and Tech Mahindra formed a strategic alliance to create and market the enterprise-grade digital solutions spanning 5G, private networks, as well as the cloud.

In India, Airtel and Tech Mahindra will collaborate to create and sell the 5G use cases.

The two companies will collaborate to establish a 5G innovation centre to generate 'Make-in-India' application cases for the Indian and worldwide markets.

They'll also bring bespoke enterprise-grade private networks to market, which will be at the heart of the digital economy.

Airtel's integrated connectivity portfolio of 5G ready mobile network, fibre, and Internet of Things (IoT) would be combined with Tech Mahindra's system integration expertise in these solutions.

Automobiles, aircraft, ports, utilities, chemicals, oil and gas will be the initial emphasis of the enterprises, which will thereafter spread to other industries.

Tech and Airtel Businesses will be able to use Mahindra's cloud and Content Delivery Network (CDN) solutions.

The 5G ecosystem will unlock immense opportunities for industries across sectors to improve productivity and enhance customer experience through digitally-powered new-age platforms and solutions, according to Manish Vyas, President, Communications, Media and Entertainment Business, and CEO, Network Services, Tech Mahindra.
