GIEOM has announced recently that their change management app, built on Microsoft Azure, has been adopted by leading banks across 35 countries. It is the only contemporary product that provides built-in intelligence that helps employees in staying updated with the regulatory changes while being adept at processes and internal policies. The app is available on Windows 8.1 and is being used by over 15,000 employees across banks like IndusInd Bank, South Indian Bank and RBL Bank in India.

First unveiled at the SIBOS banking conference in Boston, USA, the application has a simple and employee-friendly interface designed to enable seamless transition to any organizational or regulatory change. GIEOM claims that the app can help banks to enhance operational efficiency of employees by up to 20 percent.

John Santhosh, CEO, GIEOM said: “Built on Microsoft Azure platform, GIEOM intelligently interlinks different processes, policies, regulatory information, documentation, performance KPI’s & SLA’s, business controls and training, ensuring operational excellence with flexibility and intuitiveness. It has also reduced the on-boarding investment by enabling a new employee to understand the organization easily. Given the functionality and feature set, we have become an industry-standard app for banking services with more than 75,000 employees using our app across 35 countries.”

With banks deploying technology-intensive solutions, GIEOM app helps improve operational efficiencies through integration of business operations such as processes, policies and regulatory information. It enables banks to manage changes to their business paths, regulations and policies, skills and competencies and business performance. Business Map, the core of GIEOM software product, provides intelligent analysis by giving the employees an overview of the impact of the change. Additionally, it enables them to monitor in their area of responsibility and create targeted actions for course correction and interventions.

Srikanth Karnakota, Director – Cloud and Enterprise Business, Microsoft India said, “Interconnectedness holds the key to operational efficiency in the BFSI sector and with growing competition, banks must rapidly adapt to newer processes and scenarios. GIEOM’s mobile-ready app delivers a uniform experience across platforms and devices and helps banks stay ahead of the curve. When deployed on Microsoft Azure, the app is easier to implement.”

Microsoft Azure is an open and flexible cloud platform that enables customers to quickly build, deploy and manage applications across a global network of Microsoft-managed datacenters. The platform today hosts large-scale mission-critical applications for businesses across verticals, with seamless integration with existing infrastructure and financially backed SLAs.
